Joodooboo is a California banchan shop where we make fresh dooboo and NorCal farm-inspired Korean preparations.
We’re a small team with work experience that ranges from running a Michelin-starred restaurant to some of Oakland’s most celebrated kitchens, dedicated to bringing healthy and delicious food to the neighborhood.
Dooboo Subscription
Our Dooboo blocks are freshly made every day. As a subscriber, you'll have guaranteed Dooboo blocks set aside for you for pickup or delivery on a consistent schedule.

Banchan Subscription
Our seasonal, rotating banchan may include items such as kimchi, seasonal greens with mashed dooboo, roasted nantes carrots with yuzu & charred chicories, eggplant bulgogi, etc.

The items are often vegan, but not always, though we can fulfill requests for an all vegan set.

Subscription Details
📍 Pickup: in-store from Wednesday to Saturday during opening hours.*
🚚 Delivery: Thursday afternoons every other week. Delivery is available to SF, Peninsula, and South Bay at this time. Delivery fees vary by ZIP code.
🗓 Important dates: Order or make changes to pickup time by 5pm Monday for each week.
*Please note: by signing up for a subscription for pickup, you are committing to picking up on the same day each week. You'll be able to skip a week at any time, but due to the limited nature of our production, we are temporarily unable to accommodate pickups outside your usually scheduled day.
By signing up for a subscription for delivery, you are committing to the subscription for a minimum of 3 months.

What is a dooboo?
Dooboo is the Korean word for tofu. Joodooboo’s signature dooboo is made with domestic organic soybeans and inspired by traditional Korean methods of using reconstituted seawater as a coagulant.
